Battle of The Milks: Facts About Which is Healthiest and Best to Suit Your Needs

Outside of water, Milk(s) is the world's #1 nutritional item used daily. We put it in our coffees, baking/cooking recipes, cereal, health shakes, or like many, straight out of the carton and skip the ice cold glass. What was once a staple beverage for nearly every child at breakfast, lunch, and dinner has become rather complicated with an increased awareness of allergies, individual bodily reactions, or nutritional facts/benefits pertaining to the increased variety of milks to choose from.

The following is a synopsis for each milk based on nutritional value, health benefits, positives, and negatives for the five best milks (ranked 1-5) that are available in most of your local grocers. The Daily Origin Editorial team has debunked much of the rumor spreading myths about “which milk is healthiest?” to provide an honest forum from which to make a selection that fits your lifestyle

Please note that the following list is not based on a consumer having an allergy, health condition, adverse bodily reaction, or preferred taste to either category of milk. If you have one or more of the variables listed above, the list is still applicable; simply remove milks that are not an option for you.

Which ever milk you decide is best for your needs always opt for the organic version of said milk to minimize hormones, artificial flavors/ sweeteners, and fortified additives.
