Interview with Katelyn Williams of Kate’s Ice Cream

Welcome everyone to Daily Origins’s Lifestyle Video series, a year in the pandemic.

We are going to be speaking with business owners about the ups and downs in business throughout this year. Today we are speaking with Katelyn Williams, Founder of Kate's Ice Cream about how the pandemic left the business in a halt to an immediate upswing for consumer goods.

Inspired by my younger sister who couldn’t have dairy, I began making plant-based ice cream in 2014. I founded Kate’s with one goal in mind: ice cream for everyone. At Kate’s we value making great ice cream by working with local makers and farmers. I hope these flavors change the way you think about ice cream and inspire you to share them with everyone.

Kate’s Ice Cream is made using organic coconut and cashew milk and is 100% vegan and gluten-free. We collaborate with local makers and use fresh seasonal produce from Pacific Northwest farms - all with the goal of making the absolute best ice cream. Once you taste our flavors you’ll be hooked.

Visit Kate’s Pop-up Ice Cream Shop every Saturday and Sunday 12-6pm for scoops, gluten-free waffle cones, and pints. You can also find our Signature Pints in local grocers.
